Community of Practice
Keep the Momentum Going.
Stay Inspired. Connect with Fellow Changemakers.
You’ve learned powerful ideas to implement in your classroom through Literacy Launch Institutes. Now, let’s keep the learning alive. The Literacy Launch Institutes Community of Practice is a virtual space designed exclusively for educators who have attended a Literacy Launch Institute and want to stay connected, energized, and inspired. The CoPs are free and optional to attend. Literacy Launch Institute alumni can attend one CoP session, or all of them, in a given year depending on what fits their needs and interests. You do not need to attend all CoP sessions to take advantage of this opportunity!
This is your space to grow, reflect, and collaborate with fellow educators across the state. Each session offers a dynamic mix of educator stories and presentations, breakout discussions by track, and opportunities to share ideas with colleagues from across the state. Whether you’re navigating a challenge or celebrating a win, you’ll find a community ready to learn with you and from you.
Through bi-monthly sessions, we’ll spotlight educators and teams who are putting institute practices into action. You’ll walk away with new tools, real examples, and a sense of collective momentum.
What to Expect
- Bi-monthly 90-minute virtual sessions designed for connection, reflection, and learning
- Educator spotlights sharing what they’re trying and what’s working
- Breakout conversations to dig deep into specific practices (and continue conversations from institute tracks)
- A growing statewide network of like-minded educators committed to literacy equity.
All sessions will happen in the early evening on zoom from 4:30 – 6:00PM.
