Graduate Credit
Earn Graduate Credits!
Literacy Launch Institute participants have the option to earn up to 2 graduate credits in partnership with Westfield State University and HILL For Literacy. Please note that this course and all content are accessed through HILL for Literacy’s online platform, not through Westfield State University’s online platform.
- After successful attendance at their Institute, interested participants will be invited to register for the graduate course through Westfield State University.
- Participants are enrolled in the virtual, self-paced graduate course aligned with their Literacy Launch Institute Track. The HILL’s online learning platform includes access to the course syllabi, required readings, quizzes, assignments, and rubrics.
- Successful completion of the graduate course includes completion of required readings, completion of quizzes based on the required readings (approximately 15 ten-item quizzes per track), two written reflections applying your learning to your work and students, and a final assignment.
- Graduate courses close approximately six weeks after enrollment, and credit is awarded upon successful completion of all assignments.
Graduate credit will be offered for the following tracks:
- Novice
- Advanced
- Preschool
- School/District Leaders
Registration opens here at the end of each Institute. Please note that you will have one week to complete the registration form after the conclusion of the Institute. You should expect to hear about your registration status within one week of registering.
